Hola Lyrics (Beyoncé)
Hola Lyrics (Beyoncé)
Inspired by Ray LaMontagne's 2004 song "Shelter", "Halo" was written and composed by Ryan Tedder and Evan Bogart, with additional minor songwriting by Beyoncé. It was originally conceived by Tedder and Bogart specifically for Beyoncé, although there was media speculation that it had been intended for Leona Lewis.
“Halo” was written specifically with Beyoncé's relationship with her husband, Jay-Z, in mind. That means that this is actually a love song. And perhaps the simplest way to describe it is as a tune in which the singer is likening her romantic partner to an angelic being, i.e. the “halo” symbolism.
Beyoncé Song , Released On 2008.
Hola Lyrics
I love the way you walk into the roomBody shining lightin' up the placeAnd when you talk, everybody stop'Cause they know you know just what you sayin'The way that you protect your friendsBaby I respect you for thatAnd when you grow you'll take everyone you love alongI love that shitDon't fly me awayDon't need to buy a diamond key to unlock my heartYou shelter my soul, you're my fire when I'm coldI want you to know
You had me at helloHello, hello'Cause you had me at helloHello, hello'Cause it was many years agoBaby when you stole my cool'Cause you had me at helloHello, hello
I get so excited when you travel with meBaby while I'm on my grindAnd never will I ever let my hustleCome between me and my family time andYou keep me humble, I like this type'Cause you know there's more to lifeAnd if I need ya, you will be hereYou will make the sacrificeWanna feel you, wanna be near youYou're the air that I breathe to surviveI wanna know you, wanna show youThat without you my sun doesn't shineYou don't have to try so hard for me to love youBoy without you my life just ain't the sameYou don't have to try so hard for me to love you'Cause you had me at Hello
Hello, Hello'Cause you had me at HelloHello, HelloBaby it was many years ago, when you stole my coolBaby you had me at HelloHello, Hello
